The Lions Clubhouse retains the right to refuse to rent to anyone for any reason.

An Air Conditioned 2000 square feet facility for up to 134 people.

Full Kitchen: Refrigerator, range, double sink and a large counter top.

Two Restrooms: located off a privacy hallway.

Special Olympics

     Special Olympics USA Games is an event held once every four years in the United States, offering athletes from across the nation to compete in summer sports, including many of the 32 Olympic-type sports  Special Olympics recognizes globally. Special Olympics is a sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the United States. It is part of the global Special Olympics movement. Special Olympics was founded in 1968 with the main goal to accept and welcome individuals as they are. Special Olympics provides year-round training in Olympic based sports and is based in 192 countries.

    Lions Club International has partnered with the international Special Olympics for over 20 years. Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and Special Olympics have established a special partnership to provide free vision screenings at Special Olympics sporting events worldwide. Since the partnership began, the Opening Eyes program has screened more than 300,000 athletes and provided prescription eye-wear to nearly 100,000 athletes.

     The Kissimmee Lions Club is partnering with the Special Olympics of Florida that will be held in Orlando from June 5, 2022, to June 12, 2022. This will be the 1st time these Games will have been held in Orlando or Florida.  The Kissimmee Lions Club is raising money to help with the uniform and gear for the Florida Special Olympics Athletes at the 2022 games in Orlando. These will be the biggest Special Olympics games ever.  Florida will field 395 athletes (see box below). Worldwide almost 5,000 athletes will compete in 19 sports.

     Team Florida needs over 1,000 uniforms and gear for the June 2022 Special Olympics. The Lions of Florida, which comprises all of Florida and the Bahama, Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao islands, is committed to supply these uniforms and gear.

     If you would like to help, you can donate directly to the Special Olympics here!!

     Alternatively, you can donate by check or cash through the Kissimmee Lions Club Foundation, (a 501c3 nonprofit corporation) and the Foundation will place your donation with the Special Olympics USA held in the Orlando area June 5-12. 2022.
